AREA WRESTLING: Fairfield seniors make noise at State

COLUMBUS — A trio of Fairfield High School wrestlers made some noise at the Division I OHSAA State Wrestling Tournament last week.

In the 120-pound weight class, Fairfield senior Greysun Barden lost his first two matches finishing with a 28-10 record for the season.

In the 138-pound weight class, Fairfield senior Adam Sams (38-4) won his first two matches before finishing fifth place.

In the 152-pound weight class, Fairfield senior Dylan Lauffer (40-9) lost to Oregon Clay's Damon Dominique before beating Jacob Hinz (Westerville North) in the loser's bracket. Lauffer then fell to Tony Dailey (Massillon).
